South Dakota Darkhouse Spearing

Experience one of South Dakota’s most exciting winter traditions! We offer guided darkhouse spearing in Eastern South Dakota, with groups from 2 to 12 people.

Spearing Rate: $300 per day per spear shack
Each spear shack accommodates up to 2 people.

Your trip includes:
Spears
Decoys
Fish Cleaning
Approximately 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM on the ice
Lodging is available for an additional charge.

Meals are not included. Guests should bring their own food and drinks for the day, along with appropriate winter clothing and ice cleats for their boots.

We can accommodate groups of up to 12 people, making this a great option for friends, families, corporate groups, and winter getaways.

Spearing season runs approximately mid-December through mid-February, depending on ice conditions.
